BabiesAs well all know, babies make their own schedules! They may nap several times a day depending on their age. All infants are fed on demand and are held for all feedings, no matter what is going on. Very young infants will generally be held continuously in a sling or wrap, depending on the nature of the activity we're doing (i.e. no infants will be held if I am in the kitchen).

CurriculumThe curriculum and care provided at Green Valley is designed to boost each child’s individual development, self-esteem, love for learning, security, and sense of value in the world.
Eco-Friendly CareHere at Green Valley, we understand that one day our children will inherit this Earth. And so we do our part to make sure that nothing is wasted. We are experienced and willing to use cloth diapers with your child. We do not use paper plates/cups/napkins or disposable flatware.
VNSO Park/Sherman Oaks Mall
We live less than a half mile from Van Nuys-Sherman Oaks Park (Hazeltine & Magnolia) and the Sherman Oaks Fashion Center. Both are great places to have lunch and play, depending on the weather. All trips away from my home will be on foot and NOT by car, it is a 15/20 minute walk.
Note: Alternate care will NOT be provided on park days. If you rather your child not ever leave my home, be advised that I may not be a suitable provider for your family. Sign LanguageGreen Valley Childcare believes in early communication and all children of all ages will be taught signs throughout the day. This will NOT take the place of spoken English. We follow the Signing Smart method of learning and you will receive a list of signs most frequently used. We encourage you to continue signing with your child at home. You will be surprised how much your child can communicate!
